Before You Arrive on Campus

Registration and Parking

Registration will be in the Fine Arts Center.

There is a small parking lot adjacent to the Fine Arts Center (south side) that will be designated as "Registration Parking." Once you have completed the check-in, you will want to move your car and free up parking spaces for other Friends arriving for check-in. All NEYM attenders will receive free parking passes, allowing you to park in any of the lots on campus. Friends living in Hoff will not be allowed to park in the lot nearest the Hoff dormitory until after the football game on campus concludes on Saturday afternoon. Limited accessible/handicap parking is allowed in marked spaces for those with government issued permits. Accessible spots are marked on this map.

Again, please note: Due to the football game being played on campus Saturday, most Friends arriving on Saturday will probably not be able to park near their dorms until Saturday afternoon.

The Castleton area is accessible by car, bus, air or train. Please note some services will not be available during the summer and transportation options are more limited than they have been in years past. More details are provided below under File Downloads.

Interested in carpooling?
This year we are using a new tool to support Friends in arranging rides to/from Sessions. Caroster has more built in reminders and notification than our prior tool which we will hope will prove helpful.  You will need to register for rides to and from Sessions separately however.
Rides To Sessions can be arranged here and Rides From Sessions are listed here.  Please be sure to discuss masks and other COVID safety details when talking with Friends about rides. This tool is available to help Friends organize themselves—the Yearly Meeting cannot guarantee a ride.

More information is provided below in the Downloads section. The Advance Documents and the Guide to Sessions will be posted in July.
