Youth Programs at 2026 Sessions
New England Yearly Meeting Youth Programs offer robust and grounded communities of peers for younger Friends, from infants to older teens. For many, the youth programs are among the most meaningful aspects of Yearly Meeting Sessions. Our youth staff are eager to welcome children and teens into joyful, inclusive community. Click on the age group(s) that pertain to your family to find out about each program!
All youth programs participants (including Young Friends) must have a guardian/sponsor on-site in order to participate in Sessions. In addition, all youth must have health information and parental permission submitted as part of the registration process. The email confirming registration will contain the link for providing this information. Parents are responsible for their children during unscheduled periods. Program-specific orientation details/times will be published on that program's page, in each program's schedule/brochure and in the Yearly Meeting News. The latter two are available at Registration when you arrive at Sessions, as well as in the dorms, at the Info Desk, and in the program spaces.
We hold a deep commitment to strengthening connections between Friends young and old. Beloved traditions like All-Ages Worship, Capture the Flag, Vespers, and Coffee House will continue.
Each year, young people give rave reviews of the meal-time pop-up games, time for biking/scootering; and easy access to ice cream in the dining hall.
Sessions can be overwhelming. We encourage you to learn about all the opportunities, but be open to the shifting needs of your family’s energy. Just let the youth staff know if your child(ren) will be taking a break from scheduled program time.
