Child Safety
We work to make our local meetings warm, safe, and nurturing communities. We hope they are places where we can learn from each other and where children can safely take risks as they grow and become more fully themselves. Careful thought around interpersonal boundaries and appropriate behaviors by adults, youth, and children can help us achieve this worthy goal.
New England Yearly Meeting has a Child Safety Policy which includes many helpful resources. The Yearly Meeting will run criminal background checks for youth workers in local meetings at no charge.
