Friends Forum will present public historian Tad Stoermer, author of A Resistance History of the United States that Kirkus Reviews called "An inspiration for those fighting for democratic rights in the face of authoritarianism."
The talk will be on Zoom and also live-streamed from Falmouth Public Library with host Erica H. Adams and an audience present. Stoermer will Zoom from Denmark, where he teaches at the University of Southern Denmark when not spending summers in Falmouth (MA).
Tad Stoermer (www.tadstoermer.com) is a public historian trained at University of Virginia, John Hopkins, and Harvard with a focus on colonial and revolutionary America. A former congressional staffer and speechwriter, he served in the US Army and Reserves as a reconnaissance scout. He lives in Denmark and summers on Cape Cod.
