There will be a weekend teen retreat (ages 13-18) this year in tandem with Discernment Discovery Day. The retreat will take place at a local Quaker meetinghouse nearby where the Discernment Discovery Day is taking place. We will have dinner and opening activities on Friday night, and spend most of the day Saturday at Discernment Discovery Day. We will recuperate as a group for more retreat activities on Saturday evening at the meetinghouse and will wrap up on Sunday afternoon after worship with the host meeting.
This retreat will be similar to the Young Friends retreat program, with the addition of those in 7th and 8th grade who are 13 or older being invited to join us. This is a great opportunity for youth in those grades to get a sneak peek of what Young Friends retreats are typically like before they start high school and become eligible to join the Young Friends program.
