Housing Options for 2026 Sessions

Housing

There are several options for housing this year and some changes as well. The information below should help you determine what kind of housing is right for you.

Linen rental

All dorm rooms include linens this year.  Room linens include  2 sheets, 1 pillowcase, 1 pillow, 1 light blanket, 2 bath towels, and 1 washcloth. In addition rooms will have 1 plastic cup, 1 paper waste bag, 1 small bar of soap per person.

Residence Hall floor bathrooms, corridors, and public areas will be cleaned once daily. Guest rooms will be cleaned prior to occupancy but the College does not clean rooms once occupied

Dorms

Dormitory rooms are predominantly located in two locations. Final dorm assignments will be made in July and there may be adjustments based on maintenance schedules, etc. None of the dorms has central air conditioning. A small number of window air-conditioned rooms will be available for those with medical needs.

Our dorms have elevators and kitchenettes.

Hotel

There is  a hotel at the conference center on campus and some rooms may be available there. If that hotel is full or does not meet Friends' needs, there are also local area hotels withing commuting distance.

Friends planning to stay at the hotel or camping locally should register as a commuter for Sessions.  Your commuter registration includes lunch and dinner for all participants. If you are staying at the hotel on campus your breakfast is included as part of your room.  Information on how to reserve a hotel room will be posted on June 5th.

Family neighborhood

We are hoping to cluster families together once again this year at Sessions. The exact location of family housing is still being discerned.

Parents must bring sleeping bag/bedroll, pillow, and towel for any children sleeping on the floor. Moving mattresses into neighboring dorm rooms is not permitted, and we are not able to provide mattresses or other sleeping supplies for children who will be sleeping on the floor.

Camping

Camping is not allowed on campus. Our Housing Coordinator, Heidi Babb, has found two campgrounds within commuting distance. We have not vetted these sites and Friends should do their own due dilligence.
