Join us for a gathering of Friends in New England caring for the nurture of spiritual life and ministry in our local faith communities. On June 20th, Friends will gather at Hanover Friends Meeting and via Zoom. You are invited to join us as we reflect on the life of NEYM Friends as expressed in 2025 State of Society reports and statistical reports, with a particular focus this year on how meetings across our region are leaning into experimentation in response to Spirit’s callings in these areas:

  • Deepening worship and nurturing vocal ministry
  • Support for leadings: witness and ministry to the world in many forms
  • Welcome and religious education
  • Embracing change

This is a time to dream together, identify the resources meetings have to offer each other, explore common themes, and discover what’s possible now. This gathering is open to all holding a concern for the spiritual health of Friends meetings in our region. We aim to provide an opportunity for deep sharing and drawing together as a spiritual body, collectively holding the challenges and joys before us.

This will be a full-day, hybrid gathering where Friends can gather in different ways: on site at Hanover (NH) Meeting, in self-organized local clusters connected via Zoom, or individually via Zoom.

We gather to share with each other–to reflect on where Spirit is alive in our local worshiping communities. These insights and reflections also inform programmatic planning in the year ahead and our Yearly Meeting's annual priorities.

This event is offered free of charge as part of the ministry of New England Yearly Meeting.

Register here.  If you are seeking overnight hospitality in the Hanover area, there are some Hanover Friends who have kindly offered to host. When you register, you'll receive contact information for the hospitality coordinator.
