Join award-winning journalist and priest Cristina Rathbone, author of The Asylum Seekers, for an exploration of resilience and humanity. Drawing on her investigative reporting and her own family history as the daughter of a Cuban refugee, Rev. Rathbone moves beyond the headlines to suggest that, in a time of widespread social disruption, we need to find "small, real things" we can do at a person-to-person level. Attendees will be challenged to channel their energy into tangible, collective actions that foster healing within the communities we can reach.
This event is made possible thanks to a grant from the Yearly Meeting Legacy Gift Fund, together with the efforts of First Unitarian Church and Worcester Friends Meeting.
