Introducing a methodology to reconcile relationships, build trusting communities, create a culture of eldering, and foster the spiritual life of monthly and yearly meetings, facilitated by Virginia Swain.
Most of the workshop is an experiential exercise in which participants engage in imaging/visioning, developed by Quaker Elder and Virginia’s mentor, Elise Boulding—one of the key tools of Quaker Leadership Formation for Elders and Ministers.
Bring paper and an array of colored markers.
Friend Elise says: We can’t resolve a challenge at the level it was created.
Virginia’s biography and memoir, My Soul’s Journey to Redefine Leadership: A Phoenix Rises from the Ashes of 9/11 (Xlibris 2016/Audible 2022) is being republished by a Quaker Press. Friends Meeting at Cambridge (FMC) Ministry & Counsel, Peace and Social Justice and Public Friends are holding her ministry. The work is dedicated in gratitude to the late Friend Ian Harrington.
This workshop is online and pay-as-led.
