Patti Muldoon, Aging Resources (ARCH) Coordinator, will again be offering a 3-part online workshop series for Quakers and Quaker-friendly folks. These online workshops will be on October 30 and November 6 and 13 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. This will be an opportunity to talk with your chosen partners about assisting you through serious illness and deathcare. Senior citizens, parents with children at home, and adults over the age of 18 all need plans and all are welcome.

The first meeting will be informational. The second will provide opportunities to hold conversations about your serious illness planning with your chosen supporters. The last will focus on conversations about your deathcare planning. Make your plans now, then hold wider conversations with loved ones over the holidays.

You are invited to attend with your support person/people—your healthcare proxy, loved ones and Meeting members. Meeting members are encouraged to attend as a group, perhaps at your meetinghouse. Please bring a copy of Quaker Values & End-of-Life Decision Making Workbook, available at  https://nyym.org/arch/decision-making-workbook.

NOTE: Registering here will register you for all three parts of the workshop series.

Patti Muldoon is a practicing death doula and president of her regional Funeral Consumers Alliance. Questions? Contact Patti.

This workshop is offered on a pay-as-led (sliding scale) basis with a suggested fee of $25. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.

This program is made possible with support from New England Yearly Meeting and the Friends Foundation for the Aging.
