Wellesley Friends invite you to this Powwow, hosted by the Massachusett Praying Indians of Natick Tribe.
Wellesley Friends have had the joy of getting to know members of the Natick Praying Indians tribe, starting in April 2017 when some members attended Wellesley's celebration of the earth and dedication of our solar panels. Strong Medicine Bear, Autumn Sun and the other tribal leaders asked us to share the word about this Powwow honoring Natick Chief Caring Hands, who was a beloved spiritual leader of the tribe.
Gates open at 10 a.m.; Grand Entry, 1:00 p.m.
