Looking forward to gathering with you for our next Quarterly Meeting, May 4, in person in Farmington!

(Friends interested in attending virtually should reply to Mark Rains [[email protected]] with your email address by Friday evening, May 3, so that we can add you to our Zoom invitation list. Technology will be limited. You should be able to stream the program and business meeting and chat.)

Friday night: Welcome long-distance travelers to hospitality in several Farmington homes.

Saturday, May 4:

9:00 a.m. Gather at Trinity United Methodist Church
on Route 2 [612 Farmington Falls Rd, Farmington, ME 04938] about 3 miles north of Farmington Falls, 2 miles south of Farmington (same place as usual)

9:30 a.m. Meeting for worship

10:15 Break

10:30 Hank Washburn facilitates a panel of Farmington Friends speaking about their Quaker experience with local educational issues, school boards, political issues, racial issues, etc., and invites Friends to share and discuss their experiences.

12:00 Lunch (Variety of soups, etc. will be provided. Side dishes and desserts are invited.)

1:00 Brief Meeting for worship with concern for business, which will include Treasurer’s Report and Finance Committee’s proposed 2024-25 budget and its recommended increase in Maine Council of Churches contribution to $300 to support their expanded programming [https://mainecouncilofchurches.org/].

2:00 Adjourn

2:00-4:00 p.m. Open house at Mark & Cheryl’s home at 101 Town House Rd, Vienna, ME 04360
