Commitment to Inclusion

As a community rooted in the spirit of love, the New England Yearly Meeting is committed to making our retreat programs as available as possible to our members with special needs. To do so, it is important to have information about the person’s special needs in advance so we can partner to find out if we can properly accommodate the needs while keeping the integrity of the program for others. Although it is our goal to do what we can to make arrangements for full participation, there will be times when the realities of staffing and the nature of special needs may not make this possible. We will help the person and family to participate as possible.
