Upcoming Trips to Visit Cuban Quakers!
Puente de Amigos Committee has several trips to Cuba in the works!
November 2018: We have been invited to attend La Habana and Cuba Yearly Meeting (CYM) anniversary celebrations. Friends United Meeting (FUM) plans to send a delegation. The Hanover group will travel to the Oriente after visiting La Habana, but will only overlap with the FUM delegation for a couple of days. (This trip is already filled.)
January 2019: Caryl and Jeff Creswell (non-NEYM trip) will lead Faith & Play Workshops.
January 2019: Benigno Sanchez-Eppler will be at the Cuban Quaker Peace Institute (ICCP) to teach Quaker history and archive preservation.
February 2019: This group is forming now to attend Cuba Yearly Meeting Annual Sessions. Interested? Contact co-clerks Martha McManamy (978-463-3259) and/or Maggie Fogarty (603-988-7115) to learn more.
April 2019: Wellesley service team will go to Puerto Padre. They expect to link up with a nearby New England monthly meeting to fill out the team.
