Rabbi Joshua Breindel
Temple Beth El

Rabbi Leonard Gordon

Rabbi Katy Z. Allen
Ma'yan Tikvah – A Wellspring of Hope

As a Quaker community, Framingham Friends Meeting would like to convey our terrible sadness and distress at the shooting at Tree of Life * Or L’Simcha Congregation in Pittsburgh and the lives that were lost. During this time of sorrow we also wish to express our solidarity with members of the local Jewish community. Some Members of our Quaker Meeting joined Temple Beth Am and Temple Beth El for your services the week following the shooting. The daughter and son-in-law of one of our members attend Temple Beth Sholom, and we have previously partnered with Rabbi Katy Allen of Ma'yan Tikvah – A Wellspring of Hope. Framingham Friends Meeting is holding in the Light each of your congregations and the entire Jewish community of our region. If there is ever any way in which Framingham Friends Meeting can be helpful to or supportive of your communities, please let us know as our community would love to express our solidarity and friendship in any way we can.

Yours in peace and friendship,

D. Morgan Wilson
Presiding Clerk
