Military Draft

Jun 21, 1944

“George A. Selleck was asked to speak on the ‘May Bill,’ which is now before Congress, providing for universal military training in peace time. He explained that militarizing our seventeen-year-old youth may influence the whole course of their lives. He urged that Friends make their opposition to this bill known to their senators and representatives.” [no corporate action]
