Piano Recital Benefit for Quaker Voluntary Service
Join the Local Support Committee of Quaker Voluntary Service (QVS) and friends for an evening with classical pianist and former QVS fellow Daniel Joseph Parker. Listen to Daniel's mastery of the piano while supporting young adults who are making a difference in the Greater Boston area. Reception to follow.
All proceeds from this event will be donated to QVS, a nonprofit organization that partners young spirit-led adults with social justice and environmental nonprofits. Tickets are "pay-as-led": suggested donation is $15–$25. If you cannot attend the concert but would still like to contribute, please visit quakervoluntaryservice.org and click "Donate."
The first MIT graduate to attend the Juillard School, Daniel Joseph Parker received a Master of Music in Piano in 2018. Daniel's appearances include an Alice Tully debut with the Juilliard Percussion Ensemble, a Focus Festival performance, and multiple works presented in concert through the Composition for Non-Majors program.
