Stoking the Fire

Friday, June 7, 2019 (All day) to Monday, June 10, 2019 (All day)

Quaker Hill Conference Center
10 Quaker Hill Dr
Richmond , IN

Are you spiritually aflame, or perhaps feeling more like a smoldering ember ready to be stirred into life? Join Friends as we stoke our spiritual fires and stretch ourselves through communal worship, learning, and fellowship. Together we will open ourselves to Christ's presence and power and allow the Spirit to work within us as we seek God's power for transformative action.

Stoking the Fire is timed to coincide with Pentecost Sunday in the Christian calendar, and is intended as an annual retreat for individuals who are “on fire” with the Holy Spirit and are seeking deeper faith and bolder witness.

Stirring Up the Embers

Speakers & leaders will include Mary Glazer, Doug Gwyn, Bob Henry, Kelly Kellum, and others, to be announced. Time is scheduled each day for community worship, small groups, individual reflection, workshops, & plenary sessions.

Young Adult Scholarships

We have financial assistance available for Young Adult Friends, up to age 35, who want to attend Stoking the Fire. We offer this option with gratitude to Western Yearly Meeting, whose generosity makes this possible. You can indicate your interest in receiving a scholarship on the registration form.

Register here! Fees are discounted if you register by March 15.
