Resurrection, Before and After

Friday, March 15, 2019 - 6:00pm to Sunday, March 17, 2019 - 2:00pm

524 Pitt Hall Road
Old Chatham , NY
New York

"I often wonder what it means to live in the Resurrection. Maybe you do, too. This weekend retreat will be a sacred opportunity to explore what the Resurrection means in your life and for us in community. Of course, we can't look at Resurrection without looking at what precedes it: death and waiting in the dark - corresponding to the Christian observance of Good Friday and Holy Saturday. This will be a contemplative and experiential retreat with space to open our hearts to see what the Spirit may have for us." - Mary Kay Glazer

Leader: Mary Kay Glazer, a 2008 graduate of Shalem’s Spiritual Guidance Program, is a member of Greenville, NC, Quaker Meeting, North Carolina Yearly Meeting Conservative. She has a passion for spiritual formation—the many ways we are shaped by God, and how we respond.

Mary's elder will be Joe Garren, of Middlebury (VT) Quaker Meeting.
