Partners in Spirit: a retreat for young adults and aspiring mentors
Partners in Spirit is a multi-generational retreat partnering two cohorts: emerging adults (ages 18–25) seeking to strengthen their understanding and experience of Quaker spiritual practices as well as more experienced Friends seeking to grow in their gifts as mentors and spiritual nurturers.
This retreat is designed to foster cross-generational spiritual friendships through unpacking Quaker tradition, sharing in spiritual practices, and dismantling barriers to meaningful mentoring relationships. Participants will leave energized and prepared for the next step on their spiritual journey, with greater clarity of its connection to the larger Quaker movement.
Facilitators Hilary Burgin and Nia Thomas will be joined by guest teacher Kristina Keefe-Perry and another guest teacher to be announced.
Cost is on a sliding scale of $50 to $310 and includes program, meals, and accommodation from Friday evening through Monday lunch.
