Winter Wonderland at Powell House
Come for an unprogrammed weekend! Bring yourself, your family, and your friends to an open weekend this winter. You'll be sojourning in Pitt Hall. We'll feed you at regular intervals and be here to answer questions, but otherwise, your time is your own.
Who knows what the weather will be? It could be cold and snow—great for sledding, making snow people, and ice-skating. It could be balmy—time for hiking and bird-watching! There's always something to do: cross-country skiing, sledding, walking to the Bird Sanctuary, enjoying the company of your friends and making new ones, sitting in front of the fire to nap, read, or play games. Downhill skiing is nearby. Bring warm clothes and your own skates and skis.
Cost: $150/one person; $250/two people; $350/family in one room.
NOTE: There is no Friday dinner. Hearty snacks will be served at 8:30pm. We understand the challenges of getting everyone ready to travel and Friday evening traffic. Don't rush—we'll share a great time and snacks when you get here.
