This workshop, which will be of special interest to Friends serving on nominating committees, will be an opportunity to learn and share how to raise up gifts and grow leadership in our Quaker meetings. This gathering will provide a place to share best practices and unpack challenges in nominating.

This workshop will happen in person at Monadnock Quaker Meeting (Jaffrey, NH), will be interactive, and involve breakout discussions and practice scenarios.

The series will be facilitated by experienced New England Friends currently serving on the Yearly Meeting Nominating Committee, Jackie Stillwell (Monadnock) and LouAnne McDonald (Hartford).

Participants are asked to bring their own lunch (you will have access to a kitchen with refrigerator and microwave).

All participants are asked to take a home Covid test before departure, to stay home if experiencing Covid symptoms or testing positive, and to mask indoors.

This workshop is offered on a pay-as-led (sliding scale) basis, with a suggested fee of $20 which can be paid on-site or in advance.
