FCNL Annual Meeting and Quaker Policy Institute

A virtual event
November 17, 2021 - November 21, 2021

The Friends Committee on National Legislation Annual Meeting and the Quaker Public Policy Institute will take place virtually from November 17-21, 2021. Registration is pay-as-led, and you can participate from anywhere with an Internet connection.  You are welcome to attend the whole event, or to just join in for lobbying on November 17-18. Register by October 15 to get your program mailed in advance and your FCNL hat.

Here are just a few reasons to come. See the full program here.

Advocate for economic justice:  During the Quaker Public Policy Institute, we’ll learn about the issues in play and get ready to lobby Congress to ensure that critical policies to decrease child poverty and assist families aren’t left on the cutting room floor.

Hear from exciting and inspiring speakers. Our keynote speaker is Vanessa Julye, coauthor of Fit for Freedom, Not for Friendship: Quakers, African Americans, and the Myth of Racial Justice. In addition, we will celebrate and recognize General Secretary Diane Randall’s ten years of leadership at FCNL, as she steps down as General Secretary at the end of the year.

Learn and be together. Through workshops, conversations, and trainings, you’ll meet people from all across the country who are working for peace and justice, and you’ll strategize together on how to make policy change.

Here’s how to register.
