Connecting Families: Re-imagining Meeting Traditions

A sharing space for those supporting youth and families in their local meeting
January 13, 2021
7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

For those of us holding a concern for the children, youth, and families in our local Quaker meetings, this is a difficult time. Isolation, changes to holiday plans, and Zoom fatigue are significant challenges leading many meetings to re-examine the ways they approach First Day School, youth groups, and multigenerational traditions.

Come join New England Yearly Meeting's Youth Ministries Committee for an open conversation about re-imagining the traditions in our meetings in order to maintain connections with children, youth, and families.

This is a space to reflect on what this unusual holiday season has taught us about what families in our meeting need now, to get back in touch with what's at the heart of Quaker youth work, to share honestly about our experience serving families in recent months, to explore new possibilities, and to offer each other mutual encouragement.

To join us please fill out this short form by January 12.
