Join Friends to develop skills in Quaker decision-making processes in our meetings and committees, including the particular functions of clerks and recording clerks.

More than a clerking workshop, this short series, which will happen over Zoom on three consecutive Wednesday evenings (September 23, September 30, October 7), will be interactive and involve breakout discussions and practice scenarios as well as some short reading between sessions. We will also model and discuss the particular challenges and opportunities that come with conducting business over Zoom.

This series is open to all. We especially encourage people who are currently clerks or recording clerks of meetings, committees, or other groups, as well people who would like to become more active participants or leaders themselves.

The series will be facilitated by four experienced New England clerks and recording clerks, Jackie Stillwell (Monadnock), Jeremiah Dickinson (Dover), Susan Davies (Vassalboro) and Peter Bishop (Northampton).

Come learn with us about this Spirit-led and transformative approach to group discernment!
