At this retreat we'll find ways to connect from far away, check in about how we're doing, and share ways to take care of ourselves and each other during this time. We'll still have fun and be silly together, trying out playing games, being musical and creative, and hanging out, all over video. We'll also dive into the theme, exploring the ways our bodies and identities grow and change over time, practice loving who we are right now, and become better prepared for our futures as we continue to transform.
This retreat will take place with several video call segments starting on Friday evening April 17th and continuing through Saturday April 18th. In order to participate, each YF will need a computer with a webcam, a phone, and a space where they can go that is quiet and somewhat private or removed from others.
About five days before the retreat, registered participants will receive an email with information including how to set up and use the video conferencing platform Zoom, a little more about what the retreat will look like, some intentions for how to show up fully, and any pre-retreat prep that might be needed on your end.
The cost to host this retreat has been greatly reduced and we understand families may be under considerable financial strain at this time. YFs may participate free of charge, and we appreciate donations of any amount you are led to contribute if able. Information will be included in the pre-retreat email about how to donate.
