He is a 26-year veteran of the U.S. Army, and lectures on Justice Studies topics at Keene State University and the Community College System of N.H. He was appointed in 2003, at a time that the Cheshire Count Jail faced significant litigation in Federal Court, and has since revitalized the agency.
