New England Yearly Meeting

A community of Quakers and Quaker meetings across New England.

In this section are a variety of things you can do either as a group or as individuals.  They can be as simple as posting the laminated quotes on the walls (the bathroom is an interesting place for this), to as complicated as producing a full-blown  “funeral” for the “n-word”.  Don’t forget that one of the most powerful actions you can take is to form or join a committee working on racial justice.  Many Meetings already have these but can use renewed energy or start your own.  And/or you could form or join one that is more community-wide.

Please let the Yearly Meeting Committee of Racial Social and Economic Justice know about your and your Meeting’s activities.
