We meet in the historic Henniker Meetinghouse (built in 1799), every
Sunday
at 10:30 am.
| |
|
|
We gather in Friends' traditional manner, beginning in stillness, so
that the presence of God is perceptible. As we set aside our daily
preoccupations, we draw closer to God and to each other. The Light of
Christ may work inwardly among us in the silence, or someone may be
led to speak aloud in prayer, testimony, or encouragement. With
intervals of silence, in which God may add inwardly to the outer
message, several may speak during the hour of worship.

|
Our worship feeds and is fed by our service and faithfulness during
the other 167 hours of the week. We seek to be a warm fellowship, and
to reach out to the community, to the wider world of Quakerism, and
beyond.
