New England Yearly Meeting (NEYM) Annual Sessions 2011 is now meeting on the campus of Bryant University (Saturday, August 6 to Thursday, August 11, 2011). For directions to the campus click here.

9pm — Friends Journal: A Quaker Magazine and More Join Friends Journal’s new and outgoing leaders for discussion of Friends’ needs from the magazine whose mission is to connect, inspire and inform. We’ll announce our list of topics for 2012 and plans for change and innovation. (Unistructure 343)

9pm — Black Fire: African American Quakers on Spirituality and Human Rights, a new anthology of major writings by USA Black Quakers from the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. Readings by and discussion with Hal Weaver, Steve Angell, and Anne Nash. (M34)
