This directory is for the use of members of New England Yearly Meeting, its constituent local meetings, and organizations with which the Yearly Meeting has formal affiliation, to enable them to conduct the business of these groups. It is not to be used for commercial purposes or for publicity, marketing, recruiting, or fundraising.

Notes on Using This Directory

Monthly meetings are listed alphabetically by quarterly meetings. Worship groups and preparative meetings are listed under the monthly meeting with which they are affiliated. Meetings in New England which are not affiliated with New England Yearly Meeting are listed at the end. The address listed as "Mailing address is the preferred address of the Meeting. For some types of correspondence, mailing labels may be obtained from the Yearly Meeting office.

Key to Index of Meetings

Allowed/Recognized: similar to a worship group (WG), meeting weekly for worship, under the care of a monthly meeting, and usually conducting no business

FM Friends Meeting: same as a monthly meeting (MM)

MM Monthly Meeting: meeting weekly for worship and monthly for business (see individual listings for particulars that may vary for each meeting)

PM Preparative Meeting: meetings that meet weekly for worship, usually preparing to become an MM, except on Cape Cod where the three PM's are the constituent parts of Sandwich MM

QM Quarterly Meeting: a group of monthly meetings that get together for worship, business, and sometimes program three or four times per year (see individual listing for particulars that may vary for each meeting)

WG Worship Group: meeting weekly for worship usually under the care of a monthly meeting and usually conducting no business
